WHO IS CONSTANCE MURIEL GREY?

From Farm to Table

Constance Muriel Grey is a small community co-op where we connect those who have an interest in provenance, sustainability, family history, and zero waste to local family run farms and small scale producers.

We believe that the vegetables we eat should be as close as possible to what our grandparents grew in their own backyards.  Good, seasonal produce should be exciting, new, and at times a little unpredictable!

Expand your scope in the kitchen with our full and half size curated boxes. We offer recipe suggestions and are always ready to talk food. Add free-range eggs and the occasional homemade preserve to your box. Get the most out of the abundant produce available to us right here in Sydney by being part of the CMG community.

Here at CMG, we understand that life is constantly changing. We are here to help and want to make your life easier. No subscriptions, no obligation, delivered straight to your home. Be involved when it suits your family.

I love food. I love knowing where it’s come from, I love getting to know who produces it. I love foraging, I love cooking, I love spending 6 hours in the kitchen because I’ve just read about a new method I want to try. I love sharing recipes and learning from others. I love the experience of food, not just the eating part, as important as that is.

Constance Muriel Grey unintentionally started about five years ago when I got a little fed up with the vegetable boxes that were available at the time. I found the subscription-based model was inflexible with life, and, let’s be honest, who cooks with just one onion for the week. (Ironically, there are almost never onions, nor potatoes in our boxes.)

I started visiting Flemington Markets in 2016 and texting my family at 7am asking if they wanted to split a box of mangoes with me. Fast forward to today I now have very good relationships with some of the farmers out Windsor way who grow our vegetables. I text them on a Monday to find out what they’ve got growing that week, order with them on a Thursday and pick up the freshest veg possible on the Friday. I bring them home, sort them out, repack them and deliver them straight to your door on the very same day that the vegetables were picked!

I continue to do this because I want to share, with you, what I have access to, and in turn learn more about you. Drop me a line, send me a text, an email or a DM.
